Growing up in the vibrant New Orleans area, we've learned to weather many storms—both literal and metaphorical! This ornament was first crafted 15 years ago in the wake of a devastating hurricane. It started as a fundraiser, and all proceeds went directly to helping storm victims in our beloved city.

While we happily embrace a “hurricane” in a glass, you won’t find anyone cheering for the storms that challenge us each year. This ornament pays homage to our resilience and sense of humor. The updated version you see here adds a touch of playful wit, capturing the spirit of New Orleans. Celebrate our unique culture and our ability to rise above challenges with this delightful keepsake!

Please Note: All of our ornaments are individually handpainted/handmade with great care and attention to detail. Because of this, each ornament takes a minimum of five (5) days to complete, in addition to the quoted shipping time.

In some rare cases, we may have a pre-painted ornament available, which could ship sooner—but this is not the norm. If you need your ornament by a specific date or sooner than the standard processing time, please message us before placing your order so we can confirm availability.

Also, please be aware that orders placed after November 1st may take longer than 5 days to complete due to our busy holiday season (November 1st–December 20th). We appreciate your patience and understanding during this festive time!
